About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Capital Markets and Investor Relations to lead the strategic and operational aspects of equity-based capital formation. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the equity raise processes, managing relationships with a diverse and sophisticated shareholder base, and building the necessary infrastructure to support the company's ambitious capital-raising plans. This role is pivotal in determining the right path for capital raising, whether through private equity, strategic and sovereign investment, or other means, and requires a deep understanding of the capital markets landscape. The Vice President will work closely with the CFO, CEO, and Board to align on capital strategy and will be at the forefront of the company's investor-facing activities. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA, CFA, or comparable credential preferred. The role demands a professional with a proven track record in a senior investor-facing position, capable of articulating a technical and content-rich investment narrative. Experience in capital-intensive, first-of-a-kind technology or category-creating companies is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of investor relationships, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A background in investment banking, capital markets, or sell-side research is beneficial, and experience in project finance or infrastructure capital is a plus. The role requires a high level of judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle material non-public information with the utmost care.
