Part-Time Server at Springdale Golf ClubSpringdale Golf Club, located in Princeton, NJ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Role Type: Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less) Compensation: $15.92 - $17.00 per hour based on experience Key Responsibilities:Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seatingDescribes specials of the day to guests; answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions of menu items when appropriateTakes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guests promptly after preparationFollows up with guests to ensure satisfaction; replenishes items as neededParticipates in pre-shift meetings and taste testsMaintains an organized workstation and side work dutiesSets up and breaks down golf stations every shiftAccountable for checks and cash transactions; utilizes Point of Sale SystemFollows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering ordersFollows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery, and general service techniquesPractices tray service for all food and beverage serviceCross-training in bartending service requiredIncorporates safe work practices in job performanceValid driver's license required (required when operating the picker for range balls and golf cart)Maintains regular and reliable attendancePerforms other duties as requiredEducation/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates/Licenses: Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.
