Counter Sales / Account Manager – Plumbing & HVAC Supplies

Location: Norwalk, CT
Pay: $25–$35 per hour, based on experience, plus commission
Job Type: Full-time, permanent

We are seeking a Counter Sales / Account Manager for one of the largest plumbing and HVAC wholesalers in New England. This position combines in-person counter sales with account management, making it a strong fit for someone who knows plumbing or HVAC products and enjoys building relationships with contractors.

Responsibilities

Assist contractors and other customers with product selection, pricing, and orders
Identify plumbing and HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies that meet customer needs
Prepare quotes, process sales, and follow up on open orders
Build and maintain relationships with existing accounts
Identify opportunities to grow sales with current and new customers
Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams on inventory and deliveries
Resolve customer questions and order issues promptly

Qualifications

Experience in plumbing, HVAC, wholesale distribution, counter sales, or a related trade
Working knowledge of plumbing or HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies
Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple requests in a busy sales environment
Comfort using a computer to enter orders, prepare quotes, and track customer activity
Account management or outside sales experience is a plus

Compensation is $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience, plus commission. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity in Norwalk, Connecticut.
