Aspire Senior Living Advance, located in Advance, Missouri, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a per diem basis. As a premier skilled nursing facility, we are dedicated to delivering the highest quality personal care services in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
About the Role:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Aspire Senior Living Advance, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work closely with our trained therapists to provide high-quality physical therapy services to our residents, helping them to achieve their unique goals and maintain their independence. Your strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will be essential in providing exceptional care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
• Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents
• Conduct physical therapy treatments and interventions under the supervision of a physical therapist
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident treatments and progress
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in Pompeii rounds and contribute to the development of care plans
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements:
• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Missouri
• Ability to work on a per diem basis, with flexibility to work varying shifts and days
• Strong clinical skills, with excellent understanding of physical therapy principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
