Pharmacy Technician Opportunity

This opportunity seeks two skilled Pharmacy Technicians to support a specialized AIDS/HIV retail pharmacy in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Candidates will work within a compassionate, team-oriented environment, providing crucial pharmacy services to a sensitive patient population.

Location:

Oakland Park, FL (Ft. Lauderdale area)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM
Saturday, 8:00 AM 2:00 PM (flexibility for Saturdays required)

Contract Details:

Start: ASAP
Duration: 13-week contract to hire

Core Responsibilities:

Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including precise data entry and medication dispensing
Deliver high-quality patient care with respect, empathy, and clear communication
Maintain proactive communication with healthcare providers
Identify and respond to workflow and patient care needs independently
Adhere to pharmacy protocols and confidentiality standards especially important in HIV/AIDS specialty care

Desired Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings
Familiarity with QS1 software preferred; training available for tech-savvy candidates
Florida Pharmacy Technician license required; PTCB certification is a plus
Experience with HIV/AIDS medications must be clearly stated in the resume
Demonstrated professionalism, punctuality, and a proactive, positive attitude
Ability to work collaboratively in a team focused on patient-centered care
