RN Unit Manager The Emerald Peek Rehabilitation & Nursing Center Position Overview The Emerald Peek Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to step into a Unit Manager role. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations of a nursing unit, ensuring quality resident care, and providing leadership to both licensed and non-licensed staff within a skilled nursing setting. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate daily clinical operations for an assigned unit Complete required documentation including reports, evaluations, care plans, and medical records Supervise nursing staff, including coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when necessary Support staff development through training and one‑on‑one education Oversee and maintain quality assurance initiatives within the unit Collaborate with interdisciplinary departments to ensure continuity of care Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and clinical standards Serve as a point of contact for residents, families, and staff, addressing concerns professionally Make sound clinical and operational decisions in a fast‑paced environment Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York Prior supervisory experience in a hospital, long‑term care, or related healthcare setting preferred Strong understanding of clinical practices, long‑term care regulations, and compliance standards Demonstrated leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to remain organized and manage multiple responsibilities Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Compensation & Benefits Salary up to $120,000 annually (based on experience) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Additional voluntary benefits Join Our Team If you are a motivated nursing leader looking to take the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply and become part of our team at The Emerald Peek Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.
