Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse La Plata, Maryland. This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency department. The RN will manage a diverse patient population with a wide range of diagnoses, ensuring quality care and adherence to safety protocols.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 3x12 hour shifts (19:00-07:30), minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Maryland RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI certifications; 0 years of experience minimum; must be located within 50 miles of the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Emergency Department charting systems such as Epic, and community hospital experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within the specialty.
• Additional Information: The role involves managing a patient census averaging 130 with diverse diagnoses, including trauma, behavioral health, cardiac, and pediatric emergencies. Candidates should be comfortable handling complex cases, including airway management, medication administration, and trauma procedures. The facility supports interdisciplinary teams including respiratory, social services, radiology, and pharmacy.
