Job Title

RN - Critical Care Float Pool (ICU)

Location

Phoenix, AZ (with potential float to Glendale, AZ | Avondale, AZ | Gilbert, AZ)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hrs/week) | Rotating Days and Nights (7a–7p & 7p–7a)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care appropriate to each patient's age and condition in a pediatric critical care setting
• Float between CVICU, NICU, and PICU units across multiple locations as assigned
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and families to promote patient health and safety
• Implement and document care in accordance with nursing and medical plans of care
• Adhere to evidence-based nursing practice standards, hospital goals, values, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in pediatric critical care
• ADN, BSN, or Diploma in Nursing
• Current RN license in Arizona or from a compact state with multistate privileges (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association)
• Current PALS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current Advanced NRP certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level III or IV NICU hospital experience
• Previous experience in a children's hospital setting
