Position Overview: As a Behavior Technician , you will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your role will be to support skill development, promote positive behaviors, and help children reach their full potential. Responsibilities: Implement individualized treatment plans (ITPs) designed by a BCBA. Collect and record data to monitor progress and effectiveness of interventions. Encourage socially appropriate behaviors and communication skills. Fade prompts appropriately to promote independence. Ensure long‑term behavior change through evidence-based interventions. Collaborate with families and team members to provide seamless support. Educate parents on reinforcement strategies and the importance of early intervention. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical standards. Perform other related duties as assigned. Who You Are: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (preferred). Must obtain Behavior Technician certification within the timeframe set by the BACB. Strong ability to collect and record behavioral data accurately. Excellent communication and multitasking skills. Ability to follow treatment plans and seek guidance when needed.
