The Landscape Crew Leader supervises a small team of 1-5 members to execute residential and commercial landscaping projects. This role involves overseeing landscape installation, occasional operation of specialized machinery, ensuring safety compliance, quality control, and maintaining clear communication with clients. The position requires daily travel between job sites, with opportunities for advancement into higher supervisory roles.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a crew of 1-5 members in landscaping tasks
- Oversee landscape installation for residential and commercial projects
- Operate specialized landscaping equipment as needed
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations on job sites
- Maintain quality control throughout project execution
- Communicate effectively with clients to address needs and updates
- Identify and resolve problems during project work
- Coordinate daily travel between multiple job sites
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in landscaping
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques
- Strong time management skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Proven problem-solving skills
