This inpatient facility maintains established critical care protocols and the clinical resources necessary to support ICU-level services on an on-site basis. The facility operates with a structured nocturnist coverage model and provides attending physician support on-site throughout each night shift to ensure continuity of care for critically ill patients. Clinical operations are designed to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery during each assigned coverage period.

Residents and visitors may explore regional outdoor recreation, including cavern tours, botanical gardens, and parks distributed across the area. The region also features agricultural festivals, storytelling traditions rooted in Appalachian culture, and treetop experiences such as ziplining. Clinicians will provide critical care coverage during 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM at an inpatient facility, with no call responsibilities associated with this assignment. Responsibilities include intensive monitoring and management of critically ill patients throughout each assigned shift, with an expected admission volume of 5-10 patients per night. An attending physician works alongside the clinician on-site through the duration of each night shift to support coordinated patient care. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for consideration.
