Certified Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our dermatology clinic. The ideal candidate will support our providers by ensuring smooth patient flow, maintaining clinical readiness, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Preparation:

Review patient records and schedules for the day.

Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and properly prepared for each visit.

Patient Interaction:

Greet and room patients in a timely and professional manner.

Review and document patient medical history, current medications, and allergies.

Confirm the reason for the visit and any concerns the patient may have.

Clinical Support:

Assist providers during dermatologic procedures and exams as needed.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Follow infection control and safety protocols consistently.

Communication & Coordination:

Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other clinic staff.

Coordinate follow-up appointments, referrals, and patient education as directed.

The pay rate ranges from $18- $22/hr. based on experience
