Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, including management of vaginal deliveries, C-section circulating, and post-cesarean recovery
• Perform vaginal exams and support labor and delivery management throughout the continuum of care
• Care for high-risk antepartum patients, including those with gestational hypertension and gestational diabetes
• Respond to obstetrical emergencies, including OB hemorrhage, and conduct outpatient testing such as NST, CST, and BPP
• Provide newborn care within the first hour of life, including support for initial breastfeeding latch
• Utilize EMR systems (CPN/Meditech) and operate fetal monitoring equipment including GE Novii and wired fetal monitors

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of fetal monitoring experience
• Demonstrated experience as a C-section circulator and in post-CS recovery
• Proficiency in vaginal exams and care of the laboring patient through all stages of delivery and recovery
• Strong critical thinking skills and customer service orientation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience in the OR setting
• NCC certification in Inpatient Obstetrics (IP-OB) or Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
• Flexible, adaptable, and collaborative team player with a positive attitude
