Director of Major Gifts

Expanding philanthropic support, the full-time salaried Director of Major Gifts will build and manage a portfolio of high-capacity donors and prospects while cultivating new relationships and delivering measurable fundraising results, based out of the Farmington, Connecticut campus with a hybrid remote work arrangement and 10-20% travel. Key Responsibilities Set and achieve annual fundraising and pipeline-development goals while cultivating and soliciting high-capacity donors Identify and develop new major gift prospects through proactive relationship management and strategic networking Build trusted relationships with donors, advisors, and stakeholders, effectively representing the organization within various networks Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred Minimum of 7 years of experience in major gifts, philanthropy, or a related field Proven success in developing relationships and securing significant philanthropic investments Established connections within the philanthropic, business, healthcare, or life sciences sectors preferred Knowledge of biomedical research or healthcare preferred
