Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician
This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician eager to bring their expertise to a dynamic pharmacy setting. The role is based in Irving, TX and offers a contract-to-hire pathway for candidates with a strong background in sterile compounding and infusion preparation.
Location: Irving, TX
Schedule:
- Tuesday-Friday: 10:30 AM 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
- On-call rotation: 1 weekend every 8th week (from the end of Saturday shift until 8:00 AM Monday)
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License
- Sterile Compounding Certification required
- PTCB Certification
- Minimum of 2 years sterile compounding experience
- Proficient in infusion preparation and handling
Responsibilities:
- Participate in a rotating schedule between sterile compounding preparation tasks in the pharmacy and mixing in the cleanroom environment
- Prepare sterile medications following strict aseptic techniques and regulatory guidelines
- Ensure accuracy and safety in infusion preparation
- Support the pharmacy team by maintaining a clean and compliant workspace
