Staff Accountant
Gilder Search Group
A leading organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to their corporate headquarters. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, assisting with month-end close, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger Perform monthly account reconciliations (cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, etc.) Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts Support financial statement preparation and reporting Assist with audit requests by preparing schedules and supporting documentation Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or variances Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or industry) Strong understanding of GAAP Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities #J-18808-Ljbffr Gilder Search Group
