Production Lead

Job Summary The ideal candidate will ensure all products are produced to specifications and on time. They will maintain accurate inventory control processes and deliver quality products that meet company standards. A successful Production Lead will elevate company standards, achieve goals, provide excellent product suggestions and guidance, and exceed the manager’s expectations. Responsibilities Follow the production schedule put forth by the Operations Manager. Ensure team members operate at peak efficiency. Learn to use and troubleshoot all production equipment. Weigh and package completed items for shipment or storage. Follow all company guidelines and safety rules regarding packaging. Inspect products for quality and compliance. Use production materials and tools appropriately and efficiently. Handle and track inventory with care and accuracy. Input all necessary data into METRC and internal inventory systems. Notify the Operations Manager when production inventory is below PAR levels. Comply with all security measures and quality standards. Have comprehensive knowledge of all products, the cannabis industry, and relevant subject matter. Participate in staff events, outings, and promotional events. Ensure punctuality for all shifts, mandatory events, and meetings. Assist with side work and cleaning break rooms, restrooms, disposing of trash, and sanitizing common spaces during all downtime. Perform other duties or projects as assigned by managers. Qualifications Strong understanding of necessary math concepts. High school diploma or equivalent. Detail oriented. Desire to continuously learn about cannabis, cannabinoids, the endocannabinoid system, and cannabis therapies; prior knowledge is a plus. Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient with standard office equipment, computer hardware and software, including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and email. Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, municipal codes, and organizational rules. Additional Requirements Must be 21 years or older; must pass all required background checks; possess a valid driver’s license or state ID; remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry. Working Conditions While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to perform tasks involving grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Physical Demands Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance), may include sitting or standing for extended periods, as well as stooping, bending over, or crouching down.
