Intake Specialist

Job Title: Intake Specialist
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Position Summary
The Intake Specialist should have experience performing a variety of duties related to the intake, screening, and processing of applicants for public housing and residential leasing.
Duties and Responsibilities
The position will include, but is not limited to:

• Inputting and screening applicants for public housing
• Conducting applicant interviews
• Assisting with leasing and completing related paperwork in a timely manner
• Answering telephone calls and responding to inquiries
• Typing and preparing correspondence and documents
• Performing data entry
• Filing and maintaining applicant and client records
• Providing high-level administrative and clerical support
• Working in a fast-paced environment while effectively multitasking

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should:

• Be a self-starter
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be comfortable working with the public
• Be organized and detail-oriented
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Have experience with applicant intake, residential leasing, public housing, property management, or a related environment
