Type: 6+ Months Contract   

Responsibilities:

• The Temporary Staffing & Recruiting Specialist will provide day-to-day recruiting and administrative support to the Senior Staffing & Recruiting Specialist. This position will assist with managing a high volume of active recruitments and help ensure candidates, hiring managers, and pre-employment activities move through the recruitment process efficiently and in accordance with established HR procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinate recruiting activities for internal and external vacancies.
• Post approved positions to appropriate job boards and recruitment platforms.
• Review applications/resumes and assist with identifying candidates who meet minimum qualifications.
• Conduct or assist with initial candidate phone screens as assigned.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring teams.
• Maintain candidate status and recruitment records within the HRIS/ATS and internal recruiting trackers.
• Initiate and monitor background checks and reference checks.
• Prepare routine candidate correspondence, including interview invitations, follow-ups, and disposition communications.
• Assist with offer and pre-employment processes.
• Coordinate with HR team members regarding new-hire onboarding.
• Maintain recruiting spreadsheets, documentation, interview materials, and other recruitment records.
• Follow up with hiring managers regarding outstanding recruitment items and next steps
• Provide general administrative and project support to the Senior Staffing & Recruiting Specialist.

Education And Experience Requirement:

• Associate's degree or some college education preferred. At least 2–3 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR experience preferred. Experience working with an HRIS/ATS and managing multiple recruitments simultaneously is strongly preferred. Must be highly organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating directly with candidates and hiring managers.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Alternating between sitting, standing, and walking. Ascending and descending stairs. Crouching and stooping. Pushing and pulling. Reaching overhead or below. Repetitive task movements (filing, keyboarding, copying). Lifting, carrying, and moving objects of up to 10 -15 pounds.
