Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including special dietary needs, in accordance with established recipes and food safety guidelines

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant food safety and sanitation standards

• Assist in the planning, preparation, and serving of meals for special events and functions

• Work effectively with the dietary department and other hospital staff to ensure seamless service

• Monitor and report any food allergies or special dietary needs of residents

• Collaborate with the dietary manager to plan menus and specials

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including food safety and quality control measures

Requirements: MUST BE ABLE TO FOLLOW WED - SUNDAY 11A - 730PM / SAT -SUN 5AM -130PM

• 1 years of experience as a cook or in a SNF (training/education a plus)

• MUST HAVE FOOD HANDLERS CERTIFICATION.

• Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy objects, as well as stand for extended periods

• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
