Sodexo is seeking an experienced Retail Foodservice Manager 2 to lead retail operations at Hackensack Meridian Health's Old Bridge Medical Center (113 beds) and Raritan Bay Medical Center (365 beds) in Old Bridge and Perth Amboy, NJ. The Retail Food Manager oversees front- and back-of-house retail operations across two locations, leading frontline staff while managing menus, promotions, cash handling, and retail sales. Associate's degree preferred. About the job This role puts you at the center of retail operations, where your ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive customer satisfaction will be key to success. You’ll play a hands-on role in shaping both team performance and customer experience. The role of an individual contributor within the organization focuses on completing specific tasks and projects; contributing directly through their skills and expertise. Performs specialized technical tasks to support operations. Work is primarily achieved independently, however may collaborate with a team. Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities.
