We’re partnering with a growing engineering team to add an experienced Mechanical Designer III to support new product development initiatives . This role is ideal for a hands‑on designer who enjoys owning designs from concept through release and collaborating closely with engineering and manufacturing teams. What You’ll Be Doing Create 3D CAD models and assemblies from concepts, sketches, and engineering input Develop detailed component and assembly drawings with proper dimensioning and GD&T Apply design‑for‑manufacturing principles for machined, molded, and fabricated parts Perform tolerance stack‑ups and support design validation Prepare models for prototyping, 3D printing, and engineering analysis Support prototype builds, testing, and product validation activities Participate in engineering change and documentation release processes Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain Provide technical guidance to junior designers as needed What We’re Looking For Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology (required) 8+ years of mechanical design experience in a product development or engineering environment 8+ years of hands‑on 3D CAD experience (Creo preferred) Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis Experience creating accurate models, drawings, and bills of materials Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally Why This Role?
