The Dining Room Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations in a fast casual restaurant, overseeing a small team of 1-5 employees. This role prioritizes excellent customer service while ensuring efficient operations, staff scheduling and training, and coordinating orders for ala carte, to-go, and catering services. The manager plays a key role in optimizing restaurant efficiency and supporting team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest issues promptly
• Schedule and manage staff shifts to meet operational needs
• Train new and existing employees on service standards and procedures
• Coordinate orders for ala carte, to-go, and catering services
• Oversee catering management and related logistics
• Optimize daily operations for efficiency and quality
• Lead and motivate a small team to ensure smooth service flow

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in restaurant management
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication skills
• Effective time management
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
