Adult Residential Program Coordinator

Adult Residential Program Coordinator $8,000 Sign on Bonus Responsibilities : managing the clinical and administrative operations of the home. ensures that residential staffing meets DDS regulatory requirements oversees physical plan concerns of the home and assigns responsibilities to each shift of Residential Adult ABA Counselors for habilitative services and activities may supervise up to 15 staff. Melmark New England Adult services serves adult with autism spectrum disorders, acquired brain injury, neurological diseases and disorders, comorbid mental health disorders and severe needs. Qualifications Education/Training: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Service Field, or Psychology, Master's degree is preferred. Certifications/Licensure: Registered Behavior Technician or Board Certification at the Bachelor's (BCaBA) preferred. A valid US driver's license and a minimum age of twenty-one (21) years old. Must be capable of attaining approved Melmark driver status. Must meet Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background check requirements. Successful completion of employer provided certification in CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention, and Melmark's Orientation Program and New Hire Onsite training program. Must demonstrate strong reading, written and oral language skills. Strong teaching skills with emphasis on Consumers who are emotionally, behaviorally, physically and/or developmentally challenged. Experience or interest in the principles and application of Applied Behavior Analysis, and (Autism Spectrum Disorders). Strong interpersonal skills are required. Prefer at least two (2) years experience with related populations. Advanced skills in management and clinical services will be required in this role. Individuals served, families, Lead ABA Counselors, Residential ABA Counselors, Nursing, Clinicians and all other departmental staff.
