JOB DESCRIPTION 

Iron EagleX is seeking a Mission Manager to support our team at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for stakeholder engagement and relationship management; requirements and delivery management; customer success; and product adoption. This is a full-time, on site position with occasional opportunities to work remotely. 

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT 

As a Mission Manager, you will serve as the primary on-site representative and trusted advisor for customers, building relationships across leadership, operational, and technical teams to align priorities and deliver mission-focused outcomes. You will own the full lifecycle of requirements management—translating needs into actionable work, maintaining a prioritized backlog, and coordinating across stakeholders to plan and execute key deliverables while removing barriers to progress. You will drive customer success and product adoption by deeply understanding missions and workflows, delivering targeted training, developing clear user documentation, supporting onboarding, and facilitating user acceptance testing to ensure our capabilities are effectively used and continuously improved to advance the customer’s mission. 

JOB DUTIES (INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO) 

Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management 

• Serve as the primary on-site representative for customers, building trusted relationships across all stakeholder groups, including leadership, operational teams, and technical staff. 

• Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for customer mission priorities while representing the organization's strategic interests. 

• Proactively communicate priorities, progress, risks, and timelines to both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and manage expectations. 

• Serve as a diplomatic facilitator and broker between customer and technical organizations, resolving conflicts and fostering a collaborative, solutions-oriented environment. 

Requirements & Delivery Management 

• Lead the full lifecycle of requirements management, from gathering and clarifying needs to translating them into actionable user stories and technical specifications. 

• Maintain a prioritized backlog of customer requirements, ensuring continuous alignment with strategic mission objectives. 

• Coordinate with leadership, product owners, and technical teams to plan and execute major deliverables and roadmaps. 

• Represent customer interests at adjacent unit Program Increments and support internal Program Increments once established. 

• Identify and remove barriers to project completion by coordinating across internal and external teams to resolve issues and de-conflict dependencies. 

Customer Success & Product Adoption 

• Drive the adoption and value of company capabilities by developing a deep understanding of customer missions, workflows, and challenges. 

• Develop and deliver training programs, including courses for new members and specialized sessions on applications and workflows. Training will be three hours/quarter of formal classroom instruction for new personnel plus as-needed support based on operational needs and onboarding cadence. 

• Create and maintain user documentation, such as SOPs, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides, to support ongoing user success using Jira/Confluence and MS Office. 

• Facilitate user acceptance testing, gather feedback, and coordinate with technical teams to drive continuous product improvement. 

• Manage user onboarding, including access requests, provisioning, and permissions for new products and services.

• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence and MS Office 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED 

• Clearance: Current TS/SCI Clearance is required   

• Experience: 10+ years of related experience 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree  

• Role requirements: Work is onsite at Fort Bragg, North Carolina with quarterly 1-week long travel to attend CONUS-based planning conference 

• Due to US Government Contract Requirements, only US Citizens are eligible for this role
