Regulatory Specialist Schedule HOURS: Monday-Friday (hybrid) Additional hours as required TRAVEL: Possible 5 days travel per year LOCATION: Washington, DC Responsibilities Assisting the Senior Manager of Federal Policy and Regulatory Affairs by analyzing federal health policy Tracking federal regulations that affect family medicine Conducting research and producing written deliverables to support external advocacy activities and internal AAFP governance needs Other duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor’s degree in an academic field directly related and essential to the job or thorough equivalent work experience plus a minimum of two years related work experience Experience analyzing and tracking federal regulations with an interest in health care policy, or health care policy experience with an interest in federal government Must possess a solid understanding of federal legislative and regulatory process Ability to accomplish multiple priorities and excellent analytic and writing skills Compensation Salary Range $63,184.00 - $87,329.00 Equal Opportunity Employer We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
