About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Neuro Telemetry nursing License: Valid state compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Neuro nursing experience - Proficient in NIH scale - Comfortable caring for post-surgical neurology patients Description: The Registered Nurse will float between units as needed. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4. Client RN experience is required for this position. The nurse must be proficient in caring for patients with various neurological diagnoses. Experience in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing dysrhythmias is essential. Candidates must have experience with telemetry and neuro stepdown care. Previous charge experience is beneficial. The nurse will be part of a designated stroke unit capable of thrombectomy. Additional interdisciplinary support will be available, including physical therapy and respiratory services. This position requires the ability to manage various specialized procedures related to neurology.
