A manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced  Office Administrator to support day-to-day administrative and operational functions in a fast-paced environment. This role works cross-functionally with multiple departments to ensure smooth workflow, accurate documentation, and strong operational support across both office and plant settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support across departments (Operations, HR, Finance, Payroll, EHS).
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and prepare basic reports and correspondence.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Support payroll and time & attendance tracking.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
  • Create and update documents, spreadsheets, and presentations (Google Workspace).
  • Process purchase requisitions and assist with resolving discrepancies.
  • Coordinate office supplies and general inventory needs.
  • Support internal events, employee engagement activities, and company functions.
  • Assist with vendor communication and coordination.
  • Compile data for reporting and operational tracking.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of administrative or office support experience.
  • Experience with payroll or time & attendance systems preferred.
  • Experience processing purchase orders or requisitions.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar).
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills.

Preferred

  • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience.
  • Exposure to HR, Finance, Operations, or EHS functions.
  • Experience supporting employee engagement or office coordination activities.

Additional Information

  • Fully on-site role in Tuscaloosa, AL.
  • Must be comfortable working in a plant/production environment when needed.
  • PPE required in designated areas (safety shoes, eye protection, hearing protection).
