Community Training Specialist (Direct Support Staff) – Full and Part‑Time Positions (Day and Evening) – Methuen, MA – $20 - $22.00/hr. About the Role WORK Inc., one of New England’s most progressive providers of services to adults with disabilities, seeks Direct Care Community Training Specialists to support individuals in their own homes by promoting independence and enhancing quality of life. Responsibilities Assist clients with hygiene and develop independence, responsibility, and self-worth. Prepare and implement program goals, individual service plans, and treatment plans. Build positive relationships with individuals, families, guardians, and service providers. Help clients obtain appropriate healthcare services and promote healthy lifestyle choices. Facilitate client participation in outdoor activities such as movies, dining, parks, and beaches. Skills & Qualifications Patience and empathy. Strong interpersonal skills. Enjoyment of outdoor activities. Attention to detail.
