HOUSEKEEPING OPERATIONS MANAGER, Days, Oxford, NC

Salary: $50,000-$55,000 Other Forms of Compensation: Bonus Pay Grade: 10 Job Summary As an Operations Manager, you will direct and oversee the operational needs of the department, coordinating frontline associate tasks and acting as a liaison between administration and unit departments to provide the highest level of service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Establish and annually review standards and work procedures for all staff. Plan work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate services are rendered. Assist in the hiring process, conducting interviews, hiring, and training of new associates. Orient, develop, and supervise all supervisory/housekeeping staff. Conduct regular inspections and make recommendations to the facility. Conduct monthly reporting of goals, accomplishments, and future plans. Provide staff education and continuous training. Communicate with staff, administration, and other departments. Coordinate outside services (e.g., pest control, window cleaning, medical & solid waste, document destruction, recycling program). Qualifications At least 4 years of experience in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance. At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a support service field with high customer/client contact. Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and organizational abilities. Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership. Comprehensive knowledge of contract administration and office procedures. Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and internet use. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
