Pay: $28.00-$30.00/hour, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Location: Coppell, TX 75019
Duration: 1+ Year Contract

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career accounting professional looking to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Analyze financial data, including costs, revenues, commitments, and obligations.
• Assist with revenue and expense forecasting.
• Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Prepare financial reports and provide insights to management.
• Assist with budget assumptions and resource utilization analysis.
• Support tax planning initiatives and special accounting projects.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Perform additional accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of accounting or finance experience (internship experience accepted).
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems or accounting software.
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial analysis.
