Key Responsibilities Execute a variety of tasks with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency at the construction site. Dig and backfill trenches and compact earth to prepare for vertical construction. Ensure the proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safe storage of company equipment and materials. Strictly adhere to instructions and guidelines provided by the Foreman/Site Superintendent. Possess a Valid Driver’s License. Must be able to lift at least 100 lbs. and pass a post offer, pre-employment physical assessment test. Flexibility to work variable hours inclusive of weekends, as necessary. Level 2 – Pay Range: $26-$32/hr Meet or exceed all requirements for Grade Level 1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience with underground utility set up and installation. Prior hands‑on experience with and a clear understanding of survey grade stakes with proposed elevations. Knowledge and experience with different soil types and installation of shoring devices where applicable. Preferred Qualifications (Level 1 and 2) High School Diploma or Vocational training in a closely related field. OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Certifications. Proven mechanical aptitude. Proficiency in operating backhoes or similar types of equipment as needed. Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.
