Transportation Clerk Our client, a leading transportation and logistics organization, is seeking a Transportation Clerk to join their team. As a Transportation Clerk, you will be part of the administrative support team supporting daily operations and ensuring smooth communication between drivers and office staff. Job Title: Transportation Clerk Location: Bolingbrook, IL Pay Rate: $23.50 Shift: Monday - Friday 5:30 AM - 3 PM What's the Job? Perform various office and administrative duties including handling accounts payable/receivable and collections Assist with payroll, fuel reconciliation, office supplies, billing, and maintaining database records Audit logs, trip reports, and other DOT reporting requirements to ensure compliance Maintain and distribute route books, coordinate daily with drivers, and support driver coverage for vacations and overflow freight Track pallets, review driver logs, and ensure driver files meet DOT requirements What's Needed? Ability to handle multiple administrative tasks efficiently and accurately Strong organizational and communication skills Basic knowledge of office software and database management Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes Prior experience in transportation or logistics is a plus but not required What's in it for me?
