Position Overview This is a hands-on accounting role ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, job costing, and WIP reporting . You'll work directly with project managers and senior finance staff to keep billing activity current, reduce aged work-in-progress (WIP), and ensure the accuracy of financial records across a fast-paced, global energy services environment. Key Responsibilities Job setup and closeout: Open new jobs upon receipt of all required documentation from approved requestors; close completed jobs after verifying all costs are captured and invoices issued Invoice and credit memo processing: Generate and submit accurate invoices and credit memos upon job completion in a timely manner WIP management: Hold WIP meetings with Account Managers to ensure timely invoicing Accounts payable support: Enter vendor invoices by matching against PO receivers or applying correct GL coding; submit batches for Senior AP Specialist approval Receipt entry: Record miscellaneous receipts as needed AP filing: Maintain an organized accounts payable filing system Spreadsheet management: Build and maintain Excel spreadsheets to support reporting and analysis Compliance: Adhere to Sparrows Offshore's Quality Policy, Quality System Manual, and all Safety and Environmental requirements General support: Assist with additional accounting and administrative projects as assigned Required Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an accounting, accounts payable, or finance support role High school diploma or equivalent required Proficiency in Microsoft Office , with strong Microsoft Excel skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a team environment
