• Position: Interventional Radiology Tech (IR Tech)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Location: Richmond, VA

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, drain insertions, angiograms, peripheral vascular procedures, and line placements.
• Support imaging-related procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, CT coronary, MRI monitoring, and myelograms.
• Prepare procedure rooms, maintain sterile technique, and ensure equipment readiness during cases.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and assist with moderate sedation.
• Participate in on-call coverage, including weekday night call and rotating weekend call.

Required Skills:

• Critical care experience.
• Procedural area/interventional radiology experience.
• Experience with moderate sedation.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Preferred: PALS and MEDITECH experience.
