About the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Role:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) with Aspire Senior Living Malden, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to design and implement evidence-based therapy programs for our residents. Your primary responsibility as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will be to assist with the assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized therapy plans to help residents achieve their maximum functional potential.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities:

• Assist with the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans, including exercises, activities, and modalities

• Perform tasks and interventions under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to facilitate effective communication and coordination of care

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and patient outcomes

• Demonstrate a commitment to excellent patient care and customer service

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Requirements:

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant studies or related field

• Current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) licensure in the state of Missouri

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
