Radiology - Interventional Radiology

IR Tech - Travel Position

This position is for 4x10 Hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30.

This is a 13-week contract position.

The IR Tech will be responsible for various procedures related to interventional radiology including but not limited to Y-90 Chemo delivery, GI bleeds, and vein sampling. The clinician must possess a strong skill set in preparing and managing patient recovery in phase 2, as well as performing special procedures associated with the role.

• Conduct imaging procedures including adrenal angiography, angioplasty, and aortography.
• Administer Y-90 Chemo and manage patient recovery in phase 2.
• Perform additional required tasks such as biopsies, CT imaging, and stent placement.
• Maintain a sterile environment and demonstrate proficiency in room circulation and equipment setup.
• Document patient care activities in the EPIC system.
• Participate in on-call duties, once a week overnight and every 5th or 6th weekend.

• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS required.
• First-time travelers are accepted; previous charge experience is advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience with responsibilities in interventional radiology procedures.
