Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring a MA license, Level 1 trauma experience, and a rotating weekend schedule.
Details
- Work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) of a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
- Shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every third weekend required
- No floating required
- No charge nurse responsibilities required
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand at time of consideration
- Current certifications: CPR (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
- Minimum 2+ years of related RN work experience required
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
- Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill medical ICU patients
- Weekly orientation held every Monday, barring holidays
- Nurse manager will conduct interview and extend offer
- Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, medical exemptions permitted
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Candidates previously employed by Beth Israel Lahey Health (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a minimum 6-month break before returning
- Parking near the facility may cost up to $43 per day
