What You’ll Do: Provide comprehensive eye examinations and vision care to diverse patient populations. Conduct general eye health evaluations, diagnose conditions, and recommend appropriate treatments. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality healthcare services. Participate in EMR training and shadowing to ensure seamless integration into our practice. Required Skills: Current and valid Optometrist license with Board Certification. Minimum of 2 years experience in clinical optometry. Ability to speak Spanish is highly preferred to effectively serve our diverse community. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Nice to Have Skills: Experience working in FQHC or hospital settings. Bilingual proficiency in additional languages. Strong digital literacy and familiarity with EMR systems. Drive-in candidate preferred for ease of access to the clinic. Preferred Education and Experience: Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution. At least 2 years of clinical experience, ideally in a community health or hospital environment. Other Requirements: Availability to work on Wednesdays and Fridays, with potential for additional hours at other locations. Local candidates or those willing to cover their own travel costs, as the client will not reimburse travel expenses. Credentialing process may take 60-90 days before start date.
