About the Role Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse at Park Centre in Newton. You’ll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of residents. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents’ health conditions, including vital signs, and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects. Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management. Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care, including communicating with physicians and families. Supervise and support CNAs and other healthcare staff, providing guidance and training as needed. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents. Offer emotional support and education to residents and their families, promoting overall well‑being and understanding of care plans. Schedule 3rd Shift 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. (Full Time) 3rd Shift Part Time (time to be agreed upon) Qualifications Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to serve others. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. State of Iowa RN or LPN License. Location Park Centre is located in the heart of Newton, offering a vibrant community with a full continuum of care including adult day services, independent living, assisted living, memory care, long‑term care, and short‑term rehabilitation.
