Structural Staff Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Staff Engineer for a top structural engineering consulting client. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career structural engineer who wants exposure to a wide variety of projects including luxury residential homes, multifamily developments, commercial buildings, seismic retrofits, and historic preservation work. The environment is highly collaborative and rewards initiative, communication skills, technical growth, and long-term leadership potential.Not sure what skills you will need for this opportunity Simply read the full description below to get a complete picture of candidate requirements.Day-to-Day:Perform structural engineering design and analysis under supervisionDesign basic structural projects and structural componentsAssist in analyzing new and existing structures using various materialsSupport project teams in developing solutions for client challenges within project budgets and schedulesAssist in preparing reports, schedules, estimates, and RFI responsesAttend meetings with clients, architects, contractors, agencies, and project stakeholdersLearn project execution and technical engineering skills through mentorship and close reviewMust-Haves:Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architectural/Structural EngineeringEIT certificationStructural engineering educational backgroundStrong structural fundamentals and ability to conceptualize structural systemsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and 3D visualization skillsStrong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with xhyhwjd clients, architects, contractors, and internal teamsUnderstanding of construction methods, materials, and building codesPlusses:Structural engineering internship experiencePrevious structural consulting experienceConstruction field experienceExposure to residential, multifamily, commercial, seismic, or historic preservation projectsClient-facing experienceInterest in long-term growth, leadership, and business developmentExperience working with multiple building materials (wood, steel, concrete)Salary: $75K-90K/yr
