This is a Full Time, Pre-Op RN - 12 hour day shift opportunity at our Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla Torrey Pines. The shift is 0500-1730. There are not any weekend or call shifts. Join Scripps Green Hospital Surgery Team as an RN in Pre-Op, you will be amongst a team that is dedicated to creating an environment that is focused on restoring function and optimizing care, while maintaining the respect, autonomy and individuality of every patient. You will provide care within the scope of the RN practice and work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
• One (1) year of RN experience in an acute care setting
• California Registered Nurse License
• Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
• Ability to speak, read, and follow instructions in English
• Ability to demonstrate positive behaviors
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (Preferred)
• Pre-op experience (Preferred)
• Charge Nurse experience (Preferred)
