Job Description

Non CDL Driver for Appliance Installation

Hub Group Mile is looking for Non CDL licensed drivers for delivery routes in and around the Cedar Rapids, IA area. Appliances being installed can range from refrigerators, microwave ovens, washers, dryers, and other home appliances.

Compensation:

$24.63 per hour plus OT after 40 hours (full time)
Average $1,354 Weekly or $70,441 Annually

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA

Duties & Responsibilities:

Appliance Delivery with 26' straight box truck
Timely and accurate delivery including installation of appliances.
Select and use basic tools to assemble, adjust, and install various appliances.
Must be able to follow complex installation instructions as per manufacturer specifications to complete installation of Refrigerators, Dishwashers, Stoves, Laundry, etc.
Ability to maneuver items with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
Ability to make one stop per day where the team will meet an 18-wheeler at a new construction site to unload and uncreate appliances and place them in assigned rooms, and then installation of appliances.

Requirements:

Non CDL license
6 months previous driving experience
Customer service skills
Mechanical ability to install appliances
