Demand Writer Personal Injury
$20 - $30 per hourJBA International
A growing plaintiff-side personal injury firm built on culture and growth both individually and as a team. We fight for clients who have been injured and damaged by large insurance companies that delay or deny the recovery they deserve.
Were looking for a Demand Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate is coachable detail-oriented and eager to grow within the firm were committed to investing in our peoples long-term development.
Position Responsibilities
- Draft demand packages to insurance companies
- Read and comprehend medical records and billing
- Summarize case facts concisely and build persuasive liability arguments
- Write with excellent English grammar and clarity
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Maintain strong attention to detail
Position Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication organizational and time management skills required
- Strong understanding of personal injury case types (auto accidents premises liability slip and fall etc.) preferred
- Familiarity with insurance claims processes and adjuster negotiations a plus
- Ability to interpret medical terminology diagnoses and treatment codes
- Experience calculating damages (medical specials lost wages pain and suffering) a plus
- Comfortable managing a high-volume caseload and meeting demand deadlines
- Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred
- Background in English writing paralegal studies or pre-law preferred
- Experience with personal injury case management software (e.g. CasePeer) a plus
- Spanish fluency a plus
- Prior experience at a plaintiff-side personal injury firm strongly preferred
