Golf Maintenance Associate

Cherokee Hills Golf Club at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa is hiring a Golf Maintenance Associate to provide essential support to the golf course maintenance team, contributing to the overall quality and playability of the course. The Golf Maintenance Associate performs a variety of tasks, including mowing, trimming, bunker maintenance, and general groundskeeping, working primarily outdoors in varied weather conditions. Responsibilities Operates golf course maintenance equipment, small power tools, and manually operated tools. Operates mowers and string trimmers in trimming greens, aprons, tees, around trees, fence lines, banks, and hillsides. Edges the cleans and contributes to cart paths. Edges, rakes, and maintains sand bunkers. Sets tee markers and cups on greens daily. Maintains ball washers. Replaces tee towels and flags, when needed. Removes debris, sand and seed tee and drop area divots, and cleans flower beds. Operates equipment in an optimum manner and contribute to the daily maintenance of golf equipment. Work requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and balancing. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and seed tee and drop-area Work involves frequent exposure to extreme cold, extreme heat, moisture, smoke, and toxic/caustic chemicals. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and one (1) year of experience in golf maintenance preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of the game of golf. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to plan short- and long-range goals. Ability to maintain a professional status with guests and vendors. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain close working relationships with management and co-workers. Must have a valid driver’s license. About Us Do you like jobs that rock?
