Production Team Expansion In Mason, OHWe're expanding our Production Team in Mason, OH. Now hiring experienced Press, Shear and Saw Operators on 1st and 2nd shifts.JOB SUMMARYThis position is responsible for operating shear, saw and brake presses, pre-setters, and other secondary metal processing equipment. Responsibilities include:Maintain a safe and efficient work environmentPerform in process checks on parts and minimize scrapMaintaining area cleanlinessPerform work in line with quality requirements and ensure that parts are made to printOperate a forklift for daily operationsData entry on computer systemPerform daily checks on machinesAdditional items as assigned by managerCOMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTSKnowledge of ability to operate shear, saw and brake press machinesHave basic knowledge of blueprint readingAbility to set up and train others a plus!Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughlyAbility to be detail orientedAbility to be reliable and trustworthyAbility to work well in a team environmentAll Armor employees are also expected to demonstrate Armor's core values of being:Customer-FocusedPassionate about WorkSolution-OrientedDriven by IntegrityEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEHigh School graduate or GED1 year of experience operating shear, saw or brake presses and secondary equipment, or similar manufacturing experience.EQUIPMENT USEDThis position will use a stamping press, other metal forming, fabricating and processing equipment.WORKING AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONSThis position works on the manufacturing floor. They must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
