Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician is to support the day-to-day maintenance and operation of our fabrication shop. This is a hands-on, first-shift position responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining shop equipment and tools to help keep operations running safely and efficiently.Essential Functions:Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and compressed air systems on shop equipmentTroubleshoot and repair electric and pneumatic hand toolsPerform maintenance and repairs on gas and diesel enginesOperate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other material-handling equipmentOperate and assist with maintaining fabrication equipmentUse plasma torches and oxygen/acetylene torchesPerform general preventative maintenance and equipment repairsAssist with other shop and facility maintenance needs as necessaryQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsExperience with industrial or fabrication equipment preferredWorking knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsExperience with gas and diesel enginesAbility to safely operate material-handling equipmentExperience with plasma and oxygen/acetylene torchesWelding experience is a plusDependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working independentlyWorking Conditions: The primary work location will be within a manufacturing facility equipped with modern machinery and tools. The facility is designed to provide a controlled environment for welding operations.
