Veterinary Technician

Full‑time Veterinary Technician at VCA Midtown Animal Hospital Location: 1510 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30324 The Role As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting a high‑quality client experience, with a primary focus on surgery and dentistry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment and is passionate about anesthesia, surgical assisting, and dental prophylaxis and radiography. You’ll work closely with veterinarians to support a wide range of procedures, utilizing your technical expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care for every patient. What You’ll Do Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post‑op recovery Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM Collect samples and perform in‑house laboratory diagnostics Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care Maintain accurate patient medical records Plus more!
