Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Coordinator in Chandler, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and supporting badge and access control processes. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and help identify and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen visitors, vendors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with established access-control procedures; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals to the appropriate location.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and screening equipment, reporting suspicious activity, policy violations, and access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and the surrounding business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
