Privacy and Cybersecurity Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Privacy and Cybersecurity Litigation Associate in Washington, D.C. The role involves working with a nationally recognized team to defend clients in complex data privacy and security issues across various industries. Duties Engage in privacy, cybersecurity, and consumer protection litigation in state and federal courts, including class actions. Defend claims under statutes such as CCPA/CPRA, TCPA, CIPA/ECPA, CMIA, CEMA, COPPA, BIPA, and FCRA. Participate in regulatory investigations or enforcement actions. Contribute to security incident response efforts. Collaborate directly with clients and manage fast-paced matters with multiple stakeholders. Requirements 2-4 years of relevant litigation experience. Admitted to and in good standing with the California bar. Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to the California bar. Skills Strong aptitude for technology and understanding of technological processes.
